Tractors
Last Sunday after Jake and his crew (Amelia and Andrew) stopped by for the night, we all got up early. They headed back to Michigan and I headed to a Tractorcade, or a tractor parade out in the middle of nowhere. It was actually pretty cool.
And I met the coolest little kid ever! His name is Gannon, and he is from Mt. Pleasant, Iowa (which I thought was interesting!). He was sitting in a giant pile of dried corn cobs looking for pieces of corn for his pigs. And when I asked him if he wanted to be a farmer when he grew up, he said, "No, I don't think so. It's really hard work."

Hi there!
Tis the day to start my new photography blog. My tumblr turned into more of a "oooh I like this, I'll repost it" kind of thing, and I don't even know the last time I updated it with one of my photos. Plus, blogspot has a nicer layout for images! I have some free time this summer during my internship with The Peoria Journal Star, so I'll be posting some things I shoot from there and some things from this past semester at The Snews. Also, I cannot wait to get my d700! Couple more days now.
The hardest part of making this blog was deciding on a title. It's still not set in stone yet..
Yay for photojournalism!
